I have heard of this game, but I had never actually played it. If I had played it back then, I would of no doubt have chosen the Snes version. I do agree that the Snes always have had the upper hand when it came to graphics and sound. I also must give SEGA a little credit though, because the Genesis has a faster processor and still played awesome arcade style games. The Genesis overall was a good system in it's own way but did not do ports very well. The programmers should of at least ported this game to the SegaCD or the 32X.

I used to play this game when I was about 11. It was a very exciting game. You're right about the music, it was quite unique. Had the scary feel, which enhanced the thrill/suspense, and yet it was also camp enough to remind you that it was just a game. It was also very catchy.
