What we thought

"I really enjoyed finishing this game, the gameplay is good and using the weapons to their full potential requires a good level of skill. I don't have as much of an issue with the music as Rich did apart from just one level, some of it I found to be pretty good actually. This game really grew on me over the time we played through it and the sense of accomplishment in completing it was immense "

"The game has lots of depth for a shooter and is very rewarding, at first you're using the Power Star (which is essentially like a force pod from R-Type mixed with Options from Gradius) just to aim and block bullets, but eventually after mastered you're also using it like a heavy mace to batter the enemies. The two player option is also an excellent addition as always. The only thing I would criticise is the aesthetics, the music and the graphics are a bit iffy "
