What we thought

Chris

"This is an addictive game, its frenetic and fast paced and I think its held the test of time well, I think my kids would get some enjoyment from playing it even now. I do prefer some other games from the year though, such as Super Breakout and Defender but its still an extremely fun game. "

"Its obvious why this game is a classic really isn't it? The best Atari 2600 games always involve simple concepts that are engrossing, and that's what this game represents. You do have a few elements going on here though, not only do you have to protect your bases from the missiles and UFO's, but judging the speed of the missiles is a big element of the game play as there's always an explosion lag. It actually gets quite hectic and exciting as the game goes on."
